Another “old new” custom blog we didn’t had the chance to present you so far, Calculators Blog is built around a small-ish niche with a lot of growing potential.<\/p>\n

Considering the huge potential around the mortgage, loans and general investments, the Calculators blog is fit in a golden niche. What we did is to prepare the filed for future development. We made sure the most reacheable\u00a0 keywords are used in the initial set of articles and a few other extras were added into the mix.<\/p>\n

We could rant a lot on this topic but I assume you\u2019re here to read about this niche blog we built. So here it is:<\/p>\n

The theme choose is one of the awesome Woo themes that we felt is mixing well with the niche. Ishas a great aspect have many of the features at the first glance.\u00a0 A lot of options are built-in in the theme admin area so you can choose for example how the image slider should behave, make it start automatically or not, adjust the timings, numbers of items and so on.\u00a0 We also designed a custom logo and favicon.\u00a0 The header has a banner spot but we opted for a nice Payspree peel away ad.<\/p>\n

Several calculators are supplied via plugins, like the mortgage rates widget or the mortgage\/loan calculator. Another one is the Investment calculator<\/a>, a very handy addition.<\/p>\n

We added WP incentive<\/a> also \u2013 a paid plugin that will reward your readers that post comments, easy way to lure them to your list. Highly configurable also, can be used in many ways \u2013 host a comments contest anyone?<\/p>\n

For advertising we have\u00a0 options- built in theme advertising and max banner ads plugin with several advertising areas.<\/p>\n

Monetization<\/strong> \u2013 Choosing the right monetization strategies and especially the timing is critical for online success. If you try to implement too many money-making features from the get-go all you\u2019ll be accomplish will be a ticket to\u00a0 Google\u2019s sandbox and other search engines penalties.<\/p>\n

At the moment the only monetization options\u00a0 included are the banners and the Amazon autoposter plugin(paid) that was added by our client. This plugin can add products on the widget, posts and entire pages from the niche you specify. Also active are some banner ads via Automated Ads<\/a> – a great ad management system.<\/p>\n
